Ottawa Wine and Food Festival

This week is the Ottawa Food and Wine Festival.  This festival is a big deal in Ottawa which is why I am kind of shocked that in the 8 years I have lived here I have never attended this festival!  Although, in my defense I hate crowds and I hate waiting in lines (especially when I am hungry).  In the past I have heard horror stories of people waiting outside to get in for hours, standing in the rain and/or snow.  So for that reason I am excited to hear how the event goes this year. Ottawa finally has a decent sized convention centre and the organizers  are hosting it there  – So, let me know if the line-ups are more manageable and if I should check it out or not.
